Old school mindsets and sincere caring gave way to profit and deceit. A group can't function together when it's a toxic environment. When individuals are trying to get ahead at the expense of their industry, including their employees, the deserve what they get in the end. Management allowed a handful of individuals ruined a company that has a good mission statement but won't follow it. ICAR exists because of industry (insurance mostly) requirements and connections, not because consumers see a benefit. 90+% of repair shops have a very dim view of ICAR and I spent a great deal of time defending what I thought at the time was real. I learned.
