While this may be a con for some people, you always know exactly where you stand, and if you perform you will be recognized and rewarded. A terrific place to launch a career for any hardworking analyst.

Management is extremely set in its mold. No opportunities for innovation, either growing the existing offering or developing new offerings. This is shame given the remarkable transformation underway in the global energy markets, to name one example.
