As a Junior Engineer the salary is about half of my potential. I suspect that my position should be a mid-level engineer position, but I think that, as a sub-contractor, ICI were only able to secure a Junior position. Also, the hiring department mistakenly offered me a super-high salary, then retracted and low balled me. In my situation, it was the first offer I got and had to accept.
