Svantaggi
The company's unspoken mantra is to over promise and under deliver. Schedule is volatile, having gone through several drastic changes in the last few months alone. Print techs expected to work 15 hour shifts while having multiple roles converged onto smaller and smaller teams leading to safety concerns and burnout. When weather or safety lead to shifts being cancelled, management called a meeting to tell print techs to take a second job driving for Uber to make ends meet. Promotions are rarely promised or offered, and when they are "something comes up" leading to the promotions being put on permanent hold or removed altogether. The culture is cult-like with more and more being asked of it's employees "for the mission" with no regards to the health or work/life balance of those being asked. The leadership is as inexperienced as it is confident, with several of the senior managers and even directors toting Icon as their first employer. PTO is pitched as unlimited but is fenced out for months at a time without exception or explanation.
