Vantaggi

- Flexible working hours (focus more on getting work done, not punching the clock) - Competitive pay - Great benefits (health insurance, 401k contributions, etc) - Corporate allows business units to run the business without intervening too much - Financially stable company that will be around for a long time - Senior management cares about their employees - A lot of opportunity for advancement (especially if you're willing to relocate) - Tuition reimbursement program (received my MBA thanks to IDEX) - The company willingly invests in new equipment when needed - Great values and principles (building strong teams, customer obsession, and focus on what matters)

Svantaggi

- Short termism can be a problem sometimes due to pressure to hit revenue targets - Very large corporation, therefore there is very little attention from the CEO on individual business units (at least from my viewpoint which is very very low on the totem pole) - Following the status quo seems to be the mindset of a lot mid-level managers
