IDEX allows it's business units to act with autonomy, so decision making is kept local and jobs are kept engaging. That said, IDEX itself is very large and able to provide great pay and benefits to employees. It combines the perks of a large organization with the autonomy/decision making of a smaller company.

Not a con for everyone, but it's worth nothign: There are TONS of opportunities within IDEX as a whole, but upward progression at an individual business unit can take longer. Performers are rewarded, but if you are interested in quickly progressing in your career, you will need to be open to relocation.
