The organization lacks consistency in terms of employee agency structure, employee expectations, and overall communication. There have been two separate rounds of layoffs in the two years that I've been here that have snuck up on us without warning. Upper management has let go of some truly excellent leaders that helped grow and develop our department immensely and have decided to replace them with some shiny new C-suites. Employees are clearly treated as completely replaceable rather than nurtured, developed, and appreciated. I fear that upper management and the C-suite levels are completely out-of-touch with what employees truly need in order to succeed.

Thank you for your feedback, specifically targeted at recent restructuring of the business. As was communicated to everyone, our number one goal is to position the business for future sustainability and growth, not to maintain what was years past. In doing that, we did, in fact, remove a large portion of the middle-leadership as we consolidated departments and realigned some of the existing departments/solutions. At the same time, we acquired a company/solution that bolsters our Performance Marketing business while also hiring a Chief Creative Officer to build our creative services practice area. Focused areas of growth and evolution is not "out of touch", rather is necessary growth and evolution of the business. While we've made these changes for purpose of growth, we've also promoted many employees around the world because we believe in nurturing and growing people. While everyone, including the C-Suite, is replaceable, we don't take any pride in replacing staff, nor do view it as a way to impact culture. Focusing on a high performance, client centric culture will cause everyone to see growth and opportunity. Thank you again for your feedback. IDX gives you room to actually do your job. The leadership team trusts experienced people to think, challenge ideas, and make decisions instead of micromanaging. Collaboration across teams is real, not just something talked about in meetings. Smart people, solid process, and a genuine push to adapt as marketing and AI continue to evolve. If you care about outcomes and not just optics, this is a good place to work. There’s also a healthy respect for work life balance, especially compared to many agencies. Expectations are clear, communication is direct, and performance is measured on impact rather than hours logged.

Like most growing organizations, things can move fast and priorities can shift. That can be uncomfortable if you need everything perfectly defined before moving forward. Some processes are still evolving, which is the tradeoff for not being overly rigid.

The culture here is a standout. People are genuinely collaborative, helpful, and respectful of each other’s time. As a Project Manager in a performance marketing environment, I’ve appreciated how cross-functional teams partner to solve problems quickly and keep work moving. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and there’s a healthy emphasis on work-life balance, which makes it easier to do great work without burning out.

There is a documented 30-day ramp for new hires, which is helpful, but the learning curve can still be steep depending on the role/team. You need to be a strong self-starter to consistently hit that timeline, and some processes are learned through experience rather than through fully standardized, role-specific training.
