Favoritism by management. Managers will give employees they like breaks before others (even if they started later) They care so much about making money that they will literally make you wait 6-7 hours before a break. Depending on the department you work in, you will be able to sit around all day and do nothing. Often see floor employees in the back talking while deli employees are watched on security cameras to see how productive we are being. Like I said- managers choose favorites all the time. They decide who can check their phones, who gets to go on break earliest, who gets more opportunity for advancement, etc. Also my pay has slowly dwindled since working there. Where is my money going???
