I don't really have any pros...
Svantaggi
My experience at IMAPAC has not been a very pleasant one. I have lots to say about what I experienced and how it made me feel, but here are the key points you need to know before accepting an offer (or my advice: don’t accept) from IMAPAC. 1. Work culture: They claim to be a family (red flag), however I did not experience a very nice work culture. There is a massive lack of communication between teams and with members that you are supposed to work with closely. There is a lack of appreciation for what you achieve for the company. If you don’t make revenue, you are not celebrated and everything you’ve done is not important. Senior management live in some unrealistic world where they think someone (that doesn’t work in sales) can start making money on day 2. Company structure: There are people working in senior roles that lack expertise and experience in managing a team. If there was more support (external support!) this would be better, but how it is now was not acceptable and was not what I was told during the interview process. I said external support because the company is managed by the Singapore team. There is a huge difference between working in Singapore and working in the UK.. they don’t fully understand that. I have observed that the company's training sessions, led by the head of the company, seem to emphasise more on persuasion and financial pressure, rather than fostering a constructive learning environment in my perspective. 3. Remit and contract: When I look back at the contract I had and the work I was doing, it does not overlap. I was contracted to do a variety of marketing tasks and at the end of the day I was only doing E-marketing. 4. No work laptop! 5. You cannot take leave in your probation period! Lastly, I fully agree with the bad reviews that have been left here on Glassdoor. However, the decision is ultimately up to you if you want to accept the offer or not, but I would advise you to look a little longer for a different job.
