9yThank you for your feedback. I agree that there are some of the brightest people you'll come across in business, here at IMM.
We anticipated 2016 looking as it did. As such we approached this year from a staffing perspective to manage certain employees out of the business, while doing our absolute best to retain the best and brightest. Sometimes we were successful, sometimes we were not. Either way, we remain at about the average voluntary turnover for advertising agencies for the year. I want to do better than average in 2017 but it will be an indicator of how well we execute our strategic plan.
On new business, I think it’s important to make sure we share a balanced view and acknowledge that we did have new business wins this year. With these, we have grown our relationships and portfolio in restaurant, contract employee-placement and after-market automotive clients. In fact, we will have doubled our new business goal by the end of this year. It’s possible that you were not exposed to either the new business efforts or to those accounts, in general.
Finally, businesses have ups and downs. It’s often the downs that create the innovation and sense of urgency to accomplish things that a successful business would allow to pass it by.
