Vantaggi
INSIGHT2PROFIT is a small boutique management consulting firm that is focused on pricing optimization and effectiveness of its clients, largely in the B2B and B2C sectors. The tools, technology and strategy they engage with to support this work is innovative and provides real value to the clients bottom line, which results in tangible ROI and repeat engagements. - Benefits are decent, but does not compare with those larger firms - Rewards trip given annually to entire company is a nice perk - Has taken a recent interest in DE&I and is beginning to trickle some basic strategy to support initiatives into the wider organization, which is nice to see
Svantaggi
INSIGHT2PROFIT is a growing organization, with majority of the business trajectory happening over the past 4 years or so (with a break for COVID in that time span). As with any company experiencing growth pains, there is the challenge of continuing to build upon current culture while also adding to the teams supporting the business at a rapid rate and this is where INSIGHT is really struggling. - There is little to no structure to support growth of junior team members. This is leading to a mass exodus of employees. - The hiring strategy of the organization is to focus on adding incoming college grads, but there is not enough capacity within the teams to support the development needs of these individuals - Managers are overworked and underpaid in comparison to competitor organizations. Teams are stretched to the max and offered little relief, and as a manager it is difficult to keep team members engaged. - Little being done with regards to current employee retention - Some of the leaders in the organization promote a toxic work environment, and hide behind the company value of "Candor". New leaders being brought in to run the teams are adding real value and positivity, but there is a power struggle that is more than apparent, taking place between the new and old guard. INSIGHT loves to revert to the saying of "we've always done it this way" instead of embracing new changes and opportunities to propel the organization forward. - Even though employees have been working at home and remaining productive the past year and a half consultants are being called back into the office in a mandatory hybrid model. With travel resuming and many companies moving to a remote workforce, there isn't a lot of incentive to stay. This is especially true in consulting where the hours are consistently high across the board, and work life balance is essentially non-existent. - We have a senior management team who is more concerned with playing politics than addressing any of the above named issues.
