Vantaggi
After being in Federal Consulting in large and small companies alike, I can honestly say that IOP does it right. They walk the talk. Saying that a company is invested in their employee's growth and lifelong learning culture is easy. When it comes to the company paying for training , you are usually met with some noticeable backpedaling. Not at IOP! They are genuinely as interested in the employee's growth as they are growing the company. As a small company, IOP works hard to maintain a super-close family feel. At no time is there ever an occasion that you feel like it's small in stature or capability. Rarely do you find this combination of great salaries, growth potential, friendly, honest and devoted partners, and a very robust drive to make everyone more attractive to our clients in their chosen capabilities. You don't see it often because it's expensive, and it makes your employees as attractive to your competitors as it does your clients. But IOP doesn't suffer from turnover like many other firms in the same business because they hire carefully into their diverse culture, do what they say they do, and are just a great company to work for; so no one leaves. Simple model, curious more companies don't follow it.
Svantaggi
It is more a con for IOP's business environment than for IOP itself, but this is government contracting and the government can be fickle and uneven in needs and awards.
