This is a great place to learn a lot about some current technologies, and work with customers. The vacation and sabbatical benefits are wonderful.

Most positions are dead-end jobs, with no opportunity for promotion except through attrition. Performance reviews are infrequent, and are not tied to raises when they do happen. My advice to anyone starting via the internship program: Treat this like a degree program and use your sabbatical to start your job hunt. Four years of experience should look great on your résumé. Keep track of each technology you learn, and what projects you contributed to.

IOI is made up of great people; intelligent, self-motivated, and wonderful to work with. Because IOI is always looking to make sure their portfolio of products serves the latest marketing and digital media trends, they often engage with new technology partners, which keeps the job challenging and interesting.

Management of the company is shared by several equal partners. Because they have conflicting agendas, the company is not run efficiently. Sales, in particular, has been overlooked.
