We’re proud to run a companywide annual salary review process which uses external benchmarking data to ensure consistency and fairness in assigning increases and that we’re paying the market rate. We work together with Heads of Function and Senior Management to assign consistent increases using best practises and standardised rules, and our managers receive extensive training on how salaries are decided. We also operate pay scales in select department, such as Professional Services, which enables our employees to grow their salaries as their skills develop, which are reviewed in line with the cost of living each year. Along with competitive salaries, we also understand the importance of ‘total reward’, which is why we’re delighted to offer a range of benefits for our UK employees that can be tailored to their current needs and lifestyles, from including company-funded private healthcare, employee assistance programme, discounted gym memberships, matched pension with NI uplift, our electric car scheme and many other opt-in benefits. We also invest significantly in progression opportunities, internal and external training, regular feedback and recognition through our range of awards, extensive employee wellbeing support, and investment in volunteering and charitable initiatives. At IRIS, we highly prioritise giving all managers the skills they need to motivate, develop and inspire their teams, which is why we created our dedicated leadership pathways to do just that, as well as providing managers at every level with the tools and development they need to ensure they’re performing at their best. We’re delighted that on Peakon the vast majority of our managers score above the benchmark on employee engagement, and those not performing receive dedicated coaching, training and support to genuinely improve the engagement of their teams. I have been with Iris for approximately 5 months and have been incredibly impressed. The people I work with from my peers, leadership (including executive leadership) and my team, are amazing. Building relationships has been easy as most of the employees are open to it, are very collaborative and genuinely want to help! Iris is also focused on equality and ensure we all have a fair opportunity for growth. While we have a lot to do here, it is clear that we are valued.

As a rapidly growing organization, we have some growing pains and some foundational processes, systems and flow that need to be updated and/or adjusted, but nothing that won't be fixed over time.
