Vantaggi
The government has excellent health Insurance. There was a great 401K, which I transferred to my personal Financial Advisor. There was plenty of O.T. offered, plus a night shift differential. We did have a Union, however they were of little help. I received an email from the Union a MONTH after I'd resigned. I informed him I already resigned. The Union was very difficult to get in contact with.

I worked the night shift; 6:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. I was trained to work in SCRIPS and ISRP departments. I didn't have issues with most of my co-workers. There were co-workers that had worked there for several years. They would meet their quota for the night and then just sit around and talk, or were away from their desks. When I first started working Covid had struck. My first manager and I got along fairly well. Not so much for the second manager. Everything was fine at first, however the last 4 months were miserable. She would call me out on simple issues in front of the department. After two of these incidents, I would say get back with me after lunch and that these were issues that should be discussed in private. She also called out people who she considered inferior to herself. I told these people to stand up for themselves......they were too afraid. During this time we were spaced apart. ISRP was put in a department on the 2nd floor. One time my immediate supervisor came to my cubicle and was wearing shorts that no self respecting woman or man should wear. I told her let's talk about the issue another day, that I was really stressing on the particular transcribing I was doing, just so I didn't have to look at her outfit. Her initials were E.L.T. and her pic in email was a black cougar.........nuff said. I resigned on my 2nd anniversary of working there. (One should make sure they resign properly). I sent emails to all the higher ups informing them of the conditions we all were working under.
