- Constant waves of layoffs leading to zero job security - Gigantic, faceless, soulless corporation - Only cares about increasing revenue above everything else - Acquires companies not because they like the software or want to incorporate it into their overall software suite, but mostly so they can kill the competition while buying up their customer base, then drastically increase the costs of the software for existing customers without actually adding any improvements to the software, leaving to a lot of customer attrition, but as long as they increase the net ARR they couldn't care less - The customers don't matter at all, they literally couldn't care less about who they are or what they do, yet they constantly want to parade around their stolen valor of "we support the quiet voices and steady hands that protect the world"; it's just words, and their actions speak far louder than their words, clearly communicating that to them customers are simply pinatas full of money they're going to relentlessly beat until they're sure they've extracted every last cent - Very uncoordinated and disjointed leadership; pockets of leadership throughout the company trying to stitch together the giant frankenstein corporation without any real coordination or vision from the C-suite, just a bunch of meaningless platitudes - "Town hall" meetings are just recordings of the C-suite talking to each other, there's literally no live or participatory part of it, and none of the actual people in the recorded "town hall" are present or available for an actual dialogue, meaning it isn't a "town hall", it's just a pre-recorded webinar that's basically just internal propaganda for the people who haven't yet figured out how little the company cares about them or their customers - No path to advancement or career growth - Fake and uncaring CEO who seems more like a revenue-generating android than an actual human - Disjointed and understaffed HR leads to some really egregious mixups and mistakes with things like payroll, benefits, FMLA, etc, even resulting in people not getting a paycheck in some cases, leaving them on their own to fight with HR to get the money they're owed

Poor compensation, disorganized upper management that has little understanding of the work engineering teams are doing, owned by private equity only concerned with their bottom line and not the well-being of company/employees, the list goes on and on.
