Nice, knowledgeable colleagues work well together. Some interesting products and technology challenges. Business well organised and coordinated. Willing to try and adopt best industry practices. Good location, facilities and perks if you ever need to go into the office. Sponsor local Nottingham football club and selflessly share tickets with all colleagues.

Svantaggi

Focus on shiny, new acquisitions at the expense of core software products. Growth driven by acquisition rather than organic development so probably a more interesting place to work for sales and support functions rather than software and technology professionals. May struggle to break out of mid tier rut as there’s little, if any, IP or innovation to create sustainable advantage.

Poor compensation, disorganized upper management that has little understanding of the work engineering teams are doing, owned by private equity only concerned with their bottom line and not the well-being of company/employees, the list goes on and on.
