Horrible inclement weather policy. Forced to come in despite inches of snow, school districts closed, other companies closed, all without hazard pay. If we can’t come in due to conditions, we’re expected to use our PTO. Our work is NOT life or death, but they expect us to risk our lives to come to work. Salaried staff are able to stay in and work from home, so this policy doesn’t affect the higher ups. It only affects the frontline employees. They also changed their policy to this one day on a whim and expected staff to follow suit. That was two days after a bomb cyclone when all the power was out and roads were blocked.
