Vantaggi
Pay is good if you are willing to sell your morals and values
Svantaggi
I worked here for more 2 years in project management, I left on very good terms and was told by the CEO and EVP that if I ever wanted to come back I was welcome. Well that was short lived, 3 months later I (and my new employer) start receiving calls and letters from their lawyers. They attempted to bully me by making threats to take me to court for violation of my BPA. I never violated anything, luckily my new employer had my back and provided legal support. The letters were threatening and full of untruthful details that I could easily prove. After talking to several people that had also left the company, both before and after me, they all had similar experiences. Be aware of what you sign with them, have a lawyer review the BPA prior to signing it, it WILL come back to bite you when you leave. They are very compliance heavy, not one document goes out the door without the blessing of compliance, this means timelines are months and always delayed. Management does not support you, they will place blame on the PM for every delay to the sponsor. Scientific support was good when I first started and then most left and they have medical writers providing support. Very heavy workload, expect to work 60+ hours a week with bad systems, a lot of manual tracking in Excel. Multiple trackers updated several times a week so the CEO and EVP know every detail, but not sure they use them effectively as you will get constant instant messages asking for the same info. Data exports are almost always late and incorrect, as a PM be prepared to QC your exports before they go to the client so you do not get the emails/calls that it is messed up. I never received a full bonus or even half of what I should have, they like to give large pay increases instead so that way when you quit they don’t have to pay out the lump sum bonus since the pay raise is over time. When I left my BPA stated I had to give 3 weeks notice, my understanding this had changed to 6 weeks, do they think they are in the UK? Most of the support staff is in India, which makes it very difficult to get things done quickly, you will always have a day or 2 delay. The CEO is a bully and intimidated the staff to get work done, he will belittle you in front of the entire staff during a meeting. Even though the pay is good, it is not worth it, you will earn every dime here and leave to make less just to get away! Do not let them put the rose colored glasses on you during the interviews, this place is a mess!
