Vantaggi
Great starter Job, get your footing in the industry Networking Opportunity Low Stakes, they dont expect you to know everything, and there's room for minor error Management actually care (No, seriously.)
Svantaggi
Don't know the Product you'll be stuck with, or the company/client you'll have to represent. You could get super unlucky (like I did) and be stuck with a horrible company that doesn't know the Pharma industry, and don't care how their rep's look on the field with their outrageous strategies and requests. But you could also get really lucky with a longer standing company (AbbVie, Bausch) Pay is standard, especially as a beginner, they don't give you much room for negotiation Mostly Contractual, no stability or reliability No Benefits (contracts don't get benefits) No Car, weak allowance (does not include car wash or washer fluid or maintenance) It's just a job. Nothing more nothing less. Nothing is keeping you there other than the sheer flexibility of time.
