Currently a Mess - Recensione dipendente - Engineer presso Infilco Degremont

From day one to the last day of my internship I learned every single day. I dont use solidworks on a day to day basics but I am pretty certain I am still good at it. It wasn't like other internship where you go get coffee and sit around, yes there were boring days but most days I was hands on working.

I dont really have any cons to put here

The local people are key. In house talent is abundant and work hard in keeping the place going. There are many people who have only worked at Infilco and it shows. They have talent and institutional knowledge. You know who to go to for answers. Infilco has true industry skills in water and waste water treatment. Execution and Project Management are keys to keeping the company afloat. I want so much for the company to survive and flourish!

The French Aristocracy are a hinderance. After yet another reshuffling the company is tetering on falling off the cliff this time. If upper management would do some soul searching, they would step back and stop so many changes at once. It would be different if they had a plan, but they don't. It's "let's make a change and see what happens". I wish it were not so, but it's the absolute truth. Everything that is wrong with a company is wrong with this one. The local people are the only thing that will be able to untangle the web of bad decisions. Will it survive?
