Vantaggi
You will make new colleagues and friends quickly based on the fact that turnover is so incredibly high with people hating and quitting. You will also learn quickly because you're thrown into outrageous hours weekly that they will tell you is not the case when you get hired. Lastly, you'll have a great time learning how to self-motivate well because they will break you down emotionally and you'll have no other choice. If you enjoy being manipulated and having to the challenge of build yourself up from people making you feel broken and want the challenge of that, you can certainly benefit!
Svantaggi
The company manipulates you and makes you feel worthless while using words that make you feel important. Their mentality is "everyone is replaceable" and will push you to the side when you need help the most. They have no respect for personal and family matters when you need time off for serious family emergencies and shame you when you want to take time off. Their HR is not some one you can go to in order to feel safe about your concerns because this individual will not only gossip about it, but will also directly report to the high-ups so when you feel abused there's no real solution except getting fired or quitting at your emotional breaking point. They fabricate how many hours you will work in order for you to feel like it's a good work environment. Most people who work there cry regularly as it clearly appears but usually because it's one of their first jobs they don't know any better. You can ask any individual who has previous or probably currently works there and they'll discourage you to work there. If you want to work within the hospitality and event industry, this job will surely make you never want to do so again. Before you hit your breaking point and finally quit, you will surely feel belittled, broken, degraded, and treated as though your self-worth and mental health are the lowest of priorities! Not to mention their reputation is so poor to other employers that you will audibly be laughed at when you tell people you used to work there. If you care at all about yourself, mental health, and don't want to spend money on therapy afterwards, I suggest that you apply to a different company!
