I could write a novel here, but basically the bad and the ugly all boil down to bad leadership at the top levels of Informa Engage. Employees are treated as though they are expendable and asked to perform under inhumane levels of stress and workload with no incentives. There are no advancement opportunities unless you move out of Engage, the money is below average for the area, there are no performance bonuses and salary increases are extremely rare, Engage won't pay or encourage you to take classes or gain certifications to advance your skills, and the team is so lean that taking time off is impossible. Turnover is high because they burn through employees and fail to reward top performers. Good job to get some basic experience, but people eventually move on. There isn't much here worth sticking around for.
