The business is designed to survive market shocks and is well run from the top by the CEO and GM (who is essentially COO in everything but name). Management is fair and respectable. Editorial team is incredibly hard working and is trusted by the practitioner comminity.

Their frugality and cost consciousness takes time to get used to but usually makes sense.

There are too many to list. 5 days a week in Princeton in a very depressing office with no amenities. Leadership and management talk at you and do not teach you a single thing. The onboarding and training was non existent, literally. They didn’t have one training document for the CS role to follow. The only way you’ll learn is trial by fire. Every system and process is completely manual working out of 15 excel sheets, outdated, and homegrown software to get basic campaign performance data. Every week there is a meeting with the VP who will just talk endlessly and provide nothing constructive to do your job. The misalignment between the day to day work and what the management/leadership team wants us to do was so eye opening. It seemed like they had no clue what our actual job was when working on marketing campaigns for the clients. The managers are not competent to manage people and lead a post sale team effectively. There is no career path here on the campaign management team, do what you can to avoid this place.
