Vantaggi
I made some friends with other consultants and I am still friends with them now. Drinks on Friday could be fun too.
Svantaggi
The CEO is unrealistic and changes his mind all of the time. The team of 20 or so consultants don't actually do any deals as they are inexperienced and end up becoming an expense paid for by the select few that bring on business. The CEO has clear favourites and for some weird reason gives the people he doesn't like the scraps to work with. "Personal" relationships in the office create an environment that doesn't let hard workers progress and consultants have to walk on egg shells around a certain lady. The "leadership team" shouldn't be doing "recreational substances" on work nights out or trips. Its just a bad look. Commission is paid in 2 parts as the CEO says this "protects the business" so basically if you leave you don't get paid comms owed, this has happened to many people who leave. There is an "opportunity" to do well and earn a piece of the business but everybody that has ever come close or got 10% has left on bad terms. Fact. Also, I have seen many people leave as it has a constant revolving door and when they resign this angers the CEO and he then tells the team that the consultant who left "wasn't that good anyway" and that he "sacked' them when we all know this isn't the truth. Its also on companies house in several different names as it has folded several times which doesn't look good when clients look it up. Also, it doesn't look good when the new website has bad grammar and spelling mistakes. I also got told that my emails and internet history was read when I was out of the office. This as denied by "management" but my colleague sitting next to me ensured this was the case.
