Vantaggi
This is a little tricky, as I worked internally at Infosys in a very niche function, whereas most reading this will probably be doing so from the viewpoint of sales or delivery, usually working with clients. However: great onboarding programme over two days. I was actually part of this process and sadly saw it deteriorate a little, but it's still well above what I've experienced in other places. Usually, the Infosys people you work with are spectacularly friendly, and sincerely so. The company does generally feel international. This is a company that started off as a bit of a "boys' club" that has made genuine inroads into hiring and promoting female employees into higher managerial positions. Pay is reasonable. Job security is actually very good, once you've been there a year or more. Management do at times make an effort to appreciate your individual contribution, as well as congratulate group efforts, so it's a nice balance.
Svantaggi
Unless you're in India, it's very hard to get support with *genuinely* helpful training, and you'll either end up training yourself at your own expense, or you'll end up getting very skilled at simply being an Infosys employee, with the skills that you originally brought to the table getting rusty. Also, management changes very frequently, but this is a typical byproduct of a very large organisation. The benefits package is slightly behind that of others in the Information Technology and Consultancy field. Also, despite the very international feel, there are times when Infosys feels a little India-centric.
