Vantaggi

+ Decent learning experiences + Easy job

Svantaggi

I worked here as Big Data Consultant for almost 2 years. If you’re looking for a place to grow your career in tech with great mentors and colleagues, look else where. Infosys treats their employees like commodities. When they ship you out to a client, they don’t care about your growth or your success. All they want to do is to make more money off of you so they can pay for the people on bench without clients. Prepare for long, odd hours work with no overtime. You get paid the same amount as the people on bench with no project. Infosys has no regards for how the clients treat their employees. Your fate depends on the clients and your Infosys’s manager, which is a lot to gamble on for your career.

Good learning opportunities – Access to internal learning platforms, certifications, and training programs (especially for freshers). Global exposure – Opportunities to work with international clients and global delivery teams. Structured processes – Well-defined policies, documentation, and governance. Work-life balance (project dependent) – Many teams offer reasonable working hours. Employee benefits – Health insurance, paid leaves, and wellness initiatives. Safe and inclusive workplace – Strong focus on ethics, compliance, and diversity.

Svantaggi

Salary growth can be slow – Compensation increments may be lower compared to market standards. Limited flexibility in role changes – Internal mobility and project switches can take time. Bureaucratic processes – Decision-making can be slow due to multiple approval layers. Project allocation delays – Bench time and delayed onboarding to projects can happen. Variable learning exposure – Skill growth depends heavily on the project assigned. Less innovation in some teams – Certain projects may use legacy technologies. Onsite opportunities are limited – Compared to earlier years, onsite roles are fewer. Performance appraisal transparency – Rating systems may feel rigid or unclear.
