Vantaggi
Work with large clients, variety of work, occasional chance to travel. Occasionally (very occasionally), you get to work with very bright people who really know what they are doing.
Svantaggi
Infosys treats its employees as factory workers - work 18 hour days and don't expect any benefits. HR systems seriously suck and people in business enabler functions have no courtesy or regard for employees, promotions are ad hoc and depends not on meritocracy, but on your Yes-Man ship of managers. Onsite assignments need a special mention, because Infosys does not help you AT ALL with finding accommodation and settling down in a new country. Moreover, the initial cash outlay given is barely minimum to live in a cheap motel for a week - and you are on your own if you have a family !! Any employee going onsite/or at onsite is made to feel that he is being done a favour, and so should be contend with whatever (shitty) systems, processes and compensation they throw at you. Promotions and culture finds a special mention as well - seniority within Infosys (no of years you have been an employee) matters a lot and you are expected to give respect to people who have been with the firm for many years - doesn't matter whether they have real skills or not ! At times, it almost seems like a private government organisation
