Svantaggi
I joined this company with a positive mindset, but my experience quickly turned disappointing due to a combination of unprofessional behavior, poor guidance, and an unhealthy team environment. The first issue I encountered was the onboarding process itself. During my first week, I had to set up my profile and accounts, but the guidelines provided were messy, incomplete, and outdated. Some steps were missing, while others contained incorrect or outdated information. This guideline was created by my senior, but when I reached out for clarification, even my team didn’t have answers. I ended up having to ask other departments for help, which felt unprofessional and disorganized. Worse still, I received almost no proper training or onboarding. My assigned senior didn’t guide me through the tasks, he just doing his own thing. yet by the second week, I was already being asked, “When can you start handling things yourself?”—despite not being shown how things were done. It felt like I was expected to figure everything out on my own. Upon joining, I immediately felt the impact of a divisive team environment. Most of them particularly from Penang, formed an exclusive clique. They like to gossip and say something bad behind people. My partner, in particular, seemed to take issue with my role, possibly due to jealousy over my position. she used the manager’s name to pressure me and openly criticized me in front of others, making sure I overheard her negative remarks. Halo I just started my job 3 weeks only, what you expect me to do? If you jealous my title than you should propose to manager you are capable of get promotion. Even before I officially started, I realized that some team members had already looked into my background and discussed me internally. It was clear they had been talking about me beforehand. During serving notice period, A newcomer joined and takeover me. My team partner, who seemed to have an issue with my position, treated a newcomer (also from Penang) much better, assigning her easier tasks and offering more support. This favoritism made the work environment feel exclusionary and created unnecessary tension.
