Vantaggi

I've worked at InkHouse for over three years. My career here has pushed me to continue to grow professionally, think strategically and push new boundaries. It's refreshing to work somewhere that is small enough where I feel like I have a say in the direction of our office and our agency, while large enough that we have the infrastructure to run efficiently and scale our business sustainably. One of the things that impresses me the most about InkHouse is the level of respect and kindness that colleagues have for each other at every level, from account coordinator to vice president. In the PR agency world where it can get fiercely competitive and politic-y, what InkHouse San Francisco's team has built is really rare. I've worked at other agencies (global and boutique) and I've held in-house PR positions - InkHouse is the best workplace culture and most values-driven company I've come across. I feel lucky to work here.

Svantaggi

The San Francisco office snack situation is fiercely competitive and InkHouse could improve on our selection.

Vantaggi

Positive in-office environment and perks Good PTO policy Encouraging managers that take time to listen to you

Svantaggi

-Unsustainable workload and pace led to constant stress and burnout, leaving little time or space to produce high-quality work -Benefits were blatantly misrepresented during the interview process (e.g., “every other Friday off” was very much not a true day off, and number of in-office days were higher than stated right from the get go) -Minimal onboarding and support; assigned high-level projects immediately with unrealistic demands and expectations -Constant shifting priorities, excessive deadlines, and little consideration of existing workload made it extremely difficult to focus on any one task at a time. -Heavy reliance on Slack created a highly distracting work environment with pressure to constantly signal activity and respond to an excessive number of messages. -Lack of visibility into team workloads due to poor structure and management oversight. -Expectations to be available outside normal working hours. -Unclear promotion process and inconsistent internal communication. -In-office requirements felt unnecessary and inefficient given the nature of the work. -Limited opportunities for meaningful team connection; culture on all teams felt transactional, robotic, and impersonal. -Very few genuine connections and normal convos with people across teams. A little bit of respect and basic human connection would have gone a long way.
