Working at Innersourced has been an overwhelmingly negative experience, and I feel compelled to warn others considering employment here. The company operates without any clear management structure; essentially, your supervisor, manager, and HR representative are all one person – the owner. Unfortunately, this setup has led to a host of issues due to the owner's troubling behavior, which has created a toxic workplace culture. Firstly, she displays blatant narcissistic tendencies and lacks empathy entirely, which is particularly shocking given that she runs a mental health facility. Personal information about clients is routinely shared among staff members without regard for confidentiality and trust. Despite her intelligence, she consistently displays disrespect towards counselors, whom she considers lesser than social workers due to her own master-level qualifications in social work. Her inappropriate conduct extends to commenting on staff members' physical appearances and divulging personal details about her spouse and family in unprofessional contexts. She routinely made inappropriate comments about staff members' physical appearances, such as remarking on how their butt or chest looked on a particular day, creating a highly uncomfortable and awkward atmosphere. Other discussions frequently veer into inappropriate topics, such as detailing sex scenes from her favorite TV shows. This behavior contributed to an environment where any female staff member is unfairly seen as a threat, as she often insinuates that her husband may be attracted to them. Most concerning is her deliberate efforts to create a hostile work environment to pressure employees into quitting, thereby avoiding unemployment obligations or replacing them on a whim. Paychecks were often late. When her own errors led to issues with pay or other administrative matters she would deflect blame onto the staff and the employees were unfairly reprimanded for her mistakes. The owner also exhibits extreme greed, frequently boasting about spending thousands of dollars on personal goods but hesitating to pay her staff on time. She could make money consistently for 99 days, but if she loses even one dollar, she becomes irritable and mean, displaying her true priority: money. In conclusion, I strongly advise prospective employees, especially those in the mental health field, to avoid InnerSourced Solutions at all costs. The environment fostered by the owner is toxic, unprofessional, and damaging to both professional development and personal well-being.
