- PTO Usage is terrible, because the department is small, you can’t use PTO as much - Micro Managing - Team Leads/AVPs don’t know policies, they operate on, “You don’t need to know the process, you just need to make sure it gets done” - HIGH and I mean absolutely HIGH turn over rate - Have gone through 2 managers - and they plan on going to 3. - Pay is terrible, expects you to be in the phone answering calls as a call center 8 hours a day. - Arguments amongst colleagues - Lack of professionalism - They send standard messages they’re looking for ways to improve, but never do. - You don’t actually do ANY TRUE HR work, such as processing ADA’s, labor laws, handle bonuses, you’re just a messenger, this doesn’t prepare from real world HR tasks. - People take everything too personal, if you politely tell them that they’re incorrect.
