Was under an excellent manager, was able to guide me well. Was given a promotion within a year. Working hours was flexible, just manage your own time or expect to be managed.

Working over weekend and holidays are expected due to the nature of the job, at least company gives off in lieu, but you have to ask. HR please just make this an SOP.

Rampant favoritism – promotions and recognition are not based on merit. Toxic work environment filled with drama and gossip. No clear boundaries – disrespect is normalized. Poor leadership – management lacks accountability and direction. Fake workplace culture – people constantly put on fake personalities to impress management. You'll often be placed in uncomfortable situations unless you're willing to suck it up Excessive overtime with little to no proper compensation. High-stress, low-reward environment that drains your motivation.
