      This is a company that has a strong belief in it's core capabilities of reselling hardware and software, with good reason. Sellers are skilled at sourcing, pricing and delivering hardware and software from a vast range of vendors.

      Insight are struggling to come to terms with a fast changing market and continually changing demands from it's clients. Focused and rewarded on a transaction-based profit outcome utilising a dated and increasingly irrelevant business model, it will have to work hard become a supplier of exciting and innovative technologies for it's clients and transform into a solution-oriented service delivery organisation. Root and branch reform is needed to reconfigure the sales and marketing strategy to catch it's competitors (let alone overtake them). Massive actions are needed to fully embrace cloud delivery models with a fast realisation that the past is not the future. I cannot say this is a customer-centric organisation today and that, unless rapidly changed, will be the biggest inhibitor to future growth and success.

It is important to note that Insight does work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment and Insight does a great job at adapting to those changes as quickly as possible. Insight has become a major competitor in the marketplace and it's ability to acquire new companies, which allows Insight to become much stronger, is a great advantage.       I can say that i really have a great manager. I'm on contract work, have been for 8 years. Our manager always lets us know how contracts are going. When the renewal talks are happening and when things get signed. You are kept in the loop. Its comforting and supportive. If a contract isn't renewed our manager is already on the hunt for a new opportunity for work. You feel the Heart and commitment to employees. Our work/life balance is great. Opportunities for training and skills are always available. The pay is good. Life is good.

      I think my only con would be better options for insurance, but overall compared to other friends, our insurance is decent.

      Work life balance is okay. Hybrid schedule. Depending on your manager they can work with you. Some really great and caring people. Generous PTO.

      Pay is noncompetitive. The medical benefits are pretty bare minimum. Lastly, the company morale is in the tank overall. Missed several quarterly quotas, new CEO brought in to fix things. Nobody knows where anything is headed
