Svantaggi
Beware recent college graduates - it seems good until you realize how abnormal this company functions. Where do I even start. Traumatizing. - expected to be in your chair making calls to angry, sleepy people at by 7:45 at the latest. 9 calls before 9, 10 calls before 10. 60 calls EOD. your metrics matter more than you. you are a number to the company and part of the pyramid, getting overworked and underpaid and constantly micromanaged - 8am meeting every day, sometimes 2 in a row. you’ll get called out if you’re not performing. it’s all a performance, the loudest personality wins. - consistent micromanaging, you’re expected to update your leaders every hour on the work that you’re doing and they’ll have a talk with you if you don’t - prey on recent college grads who don’t know any better and push the claim that this “culture” is unbeatable and you’ll never find a better job. - Bosses and managers will text you outside of work time - Working until 6pm or after you’re home is expected, if you’re truly “gritty” and want to succeed , otherwise you’re lazy - toxic mean girl culture, buy in to the gossip or you’re the outcast - Unlivable base salary, keep you hooked on this promise you’ll make tons of money if you just try harder. - you could do your best work and it’s never going to be enough, unattainable path to success - Your personal life is everyone else’s business. - Genuinely exhausting corporate simulation that will be impossible to walk away from as your managers will guilt trip you into thinking you’re a family - compass trips??? where you have a slumber party with your coworkers and boss : MANDATORY - They hire based off of looks it’s true, they want pretty young girls or attractive guys who they can throw into the deep end of client-facing work, without any tangible knowledge of business. - constant competition between peers, everyone’s metrics are reviewed and shared every day. you win if you beat them. but there’s no winning, you’re not even making commission until about a year into the job, and then you start from scratch and are expected to cold call anyone and build your business? it’s all a lie. - this place will chew you up and spit you out, probably leaving you with an undiagnosed anxiety disorder. - if you’re lucky, you’re the one drinking the kool-aid.
