Vantaggi

Competitive salary Some good benefits include 12% pension Nice offices with free barista

Svantaggi

Some baffling HR policies - very authoritarian and stuck in the past, lacks empathy or common sense. Office attendance monitored like its 2000’s 4 days a week in office from 2027 with no flexibility if this impacts existing family arrangements - Don’t like it then leave mentality. Remove the ability to purchase extra holidays. All systems going to parent company, expect insight to become a brand rather than an independent boutique.

Vantaggi

Working at Insight is fine IF you have a decent manager.

Svantaggi

My manager was a hire suggestion from a c-suite exec, and let’s just say it would have been great if they would have interviewed literally anyone else! The most extreme micromanagement and severe loquaciousness I have ever encountered in my life, my ultimate pet peeve. I don’t think I’m alone in that I don’t appreciate being asked a question and being immediately cut off mid-sentence. I lost all of my ability to persuade or influence because this person is so convinced that they know best. This is an industry where it is really important to lead with calmness and conciseness. Someone told me that after their years of experience (apologies for vagueness) with other asset managers, Insight stands out as the most disorganized and the least able to communicate effectively. It’s really bad in that regard.
