Vantaggi
They work with a good amount of school districts.
Svantaggi
They only show you select jobs, even if there are more jobs available. If the teacher has no preference for a sub this really makes no sense and those jobs should be available to everyone to view. For example, I received notifications saying there would be a HIGH need for subs in multiple districts, but then when I log in, there are very very few jobs shown to me. A lot of the times the jobs they allow you to see are not as desirable (special ed, esl, unknown grade assignments, half days) and not the regular education classes you are looking for. Another con is that I have received phone calls from them when I am at job assignments. Not only do they know in the system that I am working but they are constantly calling and texting me when I have phone calls turned off. Why bother asking me for my preferences if you're going to ignore them? My last complaint is that when I was hired, I was given basically little to no information. No handbook, nothing about direct deposit online-- it seems as if you're just supposed to figure it out yourself. After I was given my login information, I waited for 3 weeks for them to send me my badge, and they did not send it until I complained.
