I will admit, I was totally nervous when I first started working for Instaclick. I was fresh out of college and while I had done a few freelance things for friends and family, I was pretty much new to the world of web design. To be honest, I thought Instaclick was going to be one of those places where I just ended up running errands for a bunch of people and maybe doing a couple of web layouts here and there, but I couldn't have been more wrong. I learned so much on my first day and that learning never stopped.
A lot of people tend to roll their eyes when you tell them that your coworkers feel like your extended family, but that’s exactly how I felt about the team I was on. I wasn't perfect just starting out and I made mistakes, but no one ever treated me like I was a failure. When I needed help, everyone was there for me, offering me tips and tricks that I probably wouldn't have considered on my own. I will never forget when I was handed my very first project to handle on my own. Everyone encouraged me to do my best. They had faith in me and it definitely gave me the confidence I needed.
While I will miss working for Instaclick, I am still happy that I got the chance to work there. It is because of what learned there, and the people who taught me, that I was hired for another position in Baltimore that I’m extremely excited for. It was hard to make the decision to leave Instaclick. In fact, the only reason that I decided to take the other job is because my wife is pregnant with twins and I couldn't say no to the pay! I still have everyone’s contact information, and I hope I can keep in contact with everyone even from so far away.

It’s hard to complain about such a great place like Instaclick. I think the only problem I had was that the snack selections in the vending machine were less than desirable, especially if you have a peanut allergy.
