Vantaggi
The work life balance is good, I never felt too stressed or pressured to come in on weekends or work late, although I often did because of the volume of work. The complexity of the work however, is not an issue Angel lane (Nomura building) is nice, it has a decent gym (Nuffield) and good facilitates and services e.g. on site GP, dentist, canteen etc Access to Nomura led events and opportunities Nice views of the city, located right on the Thames
Svantaggi
The work can be boring it's not really a challenge, however, there is a lot of volume questionable management, no real leadership and direction, its so hard to move things forward because they are very much stuck in their ways CEO(Adam Toms) is a ghost, you see him twice a year - once at the xmas party and the other at the townhall no real scope for advancement and promotion, dont come here if you want to climb the ladder or bring new and fresh ideas, only come if you are happy to stay in your position and learn as much as you can in order to move on or are happy to stay until retirement. People are generally good to work with, but everyone seems to suffer the same frustrations in regards to the lack of managerial skills for the management. The firm suffers massively from a lack of diversity Do not get your hopes up in terms of compensation, work on being "friendly" with the executive that way you'll be well remunerated, also helps if you are white. Didnt like the open floor plan of the whole company
