You would feel like you are working at the best company with the best company culture only as a new employee for 1-1.5 years only. This is not really the pros but as a new hire it is one of the pros but eventually, you would feel stuck in your career at this place

Speaking from my personal experience as well as what I heard from others Unfortunately, there is not much career growth at Intact for Underwriters. Working as Underwriters at minimal wages with wages only increasing by few cents or $1. Only new hires are promoted within 1 year however people who have been wanting to advance in their career are halted from advancing in their career eventually resulting in a job burnout There is no work-life balance, A lot of the people are killing their work-life balance: skipping vacations, not taking sick leaves, skipping their lunches to get promoted or advance in their career, specially when they want to be part of the management. This is the reason why people working here stopped socializing and engaging in social events and activities as they loose interest in the company Toxic working culture, management forces people to reach unrealistic targets and does not appreciate and reward employees with promotion or career advancement The management itself does not practice the company values and there is no sense of confidentiality at this company
