There are opportunities for advancement into management roles, including from non-engineer roles into engineering and management roles. Intel offers an inclusive environment. The cons of working at Intel come mostly from corporate management. Intel is flailing in the industry, and the employees over the last few years have suffered austerity measures and successive waves of layoffs, really hurting morale.
