I reported directly to the CIO, He listened to my ideas, valued my input, and let me build out a Virtual network stack. If an emergency came up he would cover for me. It nice to work for someone who cares about your well being.

It was full time in office. Upgrades were done after hours, and sometime I was up all night.

Was fortunate to have a supportive team and some good coworkers. A stepping stone for entry level experience.

- Company first, employees second mentality - Don’t expect any upward mobility or raises, hardly any growth within the company itself and employees who have been there 10+ years rarely get pay bumps and are just as likely to get fired/laid off - Upper management lack accountability and transparency — communication (or lack thereof) only goes so far - Credit is rarely given to those who deserve it - Beware of micromanagement
