80% of the people are fantastic. You can make great friends and learn a lot about data/business intelligence from people who really know what they're doing. It's definitely not a "stuck-up" environment and allows for a lot of flexibility (to a point). There are some really cool benefits, and some people do a great job of bringing everyone together. If you like working in Tableau, this is the place to be.

We've gone a year and a half without anyone functioning in an HR role, which has seriously impacted the culture and made people too comfortable with not having any consequences. As many other reviewers have said, especially of the top levels of the org chart, some people behave in completely inappropriate ways but are untouchable if they're in the "in crowd" with the CEO. He answers to no one (no board, no shareholders) and uses his dictatorship to willingly ignore employee feedback. His unilateral decisions, which he continues to share in secretive side meetings instead of communicating with us directly, are affecting the company in extreme ways post-COVID. But if the dictator likes you, life is good. You can sexually harass anyone you want, completely neglect to do your job, or work from home while entire teams are forced back into the office 5 days a week. Another telling illustration of the boys' club: go to interworks.com/team/ and search "Director" titles. 4/23 are women, and certainly not because the men who have been promoted to those positions deserved them. They tout a "work hard, play harder" work culture, which can absolutely be fun, but no workplace boundaries exist. Combine that with unlimited alcohol at nearly every function (or simply on a Tuesday in the office), and you have a very bad mixture with rampant illegal and inappropriate misconduct. TLDR: There are no policies, which could be your thing, but you'll learn there are unspoken rules that only apply to some people.
