When American Water had a pipe burst and there was no water to the building, the options were to take PTO or drive to a gas station; multiple OSHA calls resulted. Communication between teams was tense and passive-aggressive, slowing down progress which impacts customers in the end. Finally, there is a “club” that the CEO has where he gives a select group of guys that he likes a ~$10k bonus every year.
