You can move up depending on how much you learn and positions available so less chances towards the top but still chances for a raise based on performanceand can also be picke for special projects based on performance

Work is not always easy May be away from home for long periods of time( maybe up to around 3 months but only for really good employees) Not all the vessels used have the same comforts( internet, television, food quality etc.)
