Vantaggi

You get to work as an intern with top industry professionals but you will mostly be doing physical labor. Pick-ups and deliveries are one of the main focuses of being an intern/freelancer at Interview. You will learn how to correspond with press companies, agencies, and production teams, which helps you see the whole process of making an issue of the magazine.

Svantaggi

I was an unpaid intern worker. When I left, myself and several other interns did not receive our subway stipend even though we were expected to ride the subway multiple times a day due to pick-ups and deliveries. I've heard this has changed with interns now being hourly paid freelancers, however your days will still be incredibly long and include a lot of physical labor. Most days I worked at Interview I wouldn't eat my "lunch" until well after 5pm. A handful of days I would get home between 10pm-midnight and finally have the opportunity to eat.
