There has been over-hiring in some areas, while essential departments like product, marketing, compliance, and operational support remain understaffed. Management quality varies by team. My experience was marred by favoritism, lack of growth opportunities, and pay well below the market average. There is a lack of accountability for managers who lack direction and knowledge, often pushing their work onto junior employees without supporting their growth. Promotions are often based on mediocrity. Senior leaders lack conviction in their long-term plan, leading to delays and shifting goals.
