I can only speak from my experience, but aligning my career goals with management and setting clear targets has given me a path and opportunity to progress. Is it hard work? Absolutely it can be. If you are someone who has ambition, there are opportunities here to come up with new ideas and take ownership of them.
Some reviews will mention hard work particularly over the summer period -- its important to note that we hire seasonal staff beyond our full-time team. For many full-time roles, different teams will find they have different down periods as of course delivering our main product during summer will be the busiest time.
The people who work at this business are kind, approachable and inclusive of all backgrounds. Many have been here for several years including the MDs who have climbed the ranks and naturally understand the roles and tasks people actually do.
Working with students in the summer is genuinely amazing. I could never be a teacher but having some exposure to young people discovering their career ambitions is very fulfilling.
Finally, you will see some older reviews that are not great, I'd say a lot has changed since the company learned from a few poor decisions.

Sometimes the ownership model can mean it takes a little while to see through changes which require sign-off at group level, though we get there in the end!
