Not much opportunity for advancement for those in the retail stores. Promotions seem to be given to a select few. You rarely know your schedule in advance, so hard to schedule anything. Schedule is a moving target as Corporate likes to micro-manage the stores hours Retail employees are definitely the step children of the company.
