The boss is an angry micromanager that is inflexible, a poor communicator, and an unapologetic sexist. He lied about how much he would pay me--twice! He regularly keeps people there 12 hours a day (longer if he gets caught up in something or has a temper tantrum), structures pay in a sketchy way as to not have to pay you overtime (despite working for below the legal minimum at which an employee would be overtime-exempt), and gives you absolutely NO BENEFITS FOR THE FIRST YEAR WORKING THERE. None. At all. As someone who inherited his money and his career, he doesn't quite know how to work in a professional manner. He is rude, unapologetic, and definitely has some loose screws. DO NOT WORK FOR JEFFREY FISH. The sad part is, the few other employees that worked here during my time at JMF were quite nice, but really hopeless about changing anything about the dysfunctional culture there.
